PILATES

Pilates is a core strengthening and conditioning technique to improve posture, mobility, flexibility, muscle tone and fitness, and enhance overall well being. NeuroPilates™ combines traditional Pilates movements with functional neurology exercises to provide sessions and classes that deliberately improve brain health and stimulate the nervous system to maximize athletic performance, help alleviate pain and support injury rehabilitation. It is a movement system aimed to optimise the body’s posture, movement, vision, balance and overall health by improving and fine tuning the brain body connection at a neurological level.  The health of your brain dictates everything about you so by doing specific exercises to improve its function you will ensure the connections between your brain and body remain intact, and improve all aspects of your health and well being especially preconception, coordination and balance.

Group Mat Classes

Classes are themed to focus on one part of the brain. We start and end the class with some neural exercises and then select key Pilates poses to build core strength and spinal mobility.

Private Classes

You prefer individualized attention to group classes and have specific goals. Sessions last 60 or 90 minutes and include warm up exercises and a customised sequence to ensure you reach your goals. You will be required to complete an assessment form and waiver prior to our first session.
